The Null Device

What's the difference between a dog and a fox?

A psychology study has found proof that alcohol makes you more attractive -- at least when someone else is drinking it. In a study of 120 male and female students, researchers found that two pints of beer increased the perceived attractiveness of the opposite sex by about 25%. This is hypothesised to be a result of alcohol stimulating the nucleus accumbens, which is responsible for judging facial attractiveness.

But that really is common knowledge. Don't you know this misogynistic game lads play in pubs where women are measured by the number of pints you'd need to drink to sleep with them? The more pints the less attractive the woman...

Until now, this was merely folklore. And rather male-centric as well. The study confirms that there is an effect, and that womens' perception of male attractiveness is affected in a similar fashion.
